A Preview of the Think Pink International Women’s Day 2026 Soirée
Founder of Eleanor Juliet PR announces a glamorous London soirée with guests dusting off their wedding dresses to don for a celebratory Pink Party.
BY VANESA KRIZONYTE
Following social tradition, wedding dresses are designed to be worn once. In the blooming Spring 2026 on International Women’s Day, Eleanor Taylor-Roberts will host a Think Pink Soirée. An invitation for beautiful women to dust out their precious bridal wear and swing their way for a fluffy, light, feminine and girly time. For those embarking on a new journey of love, the auction will offer an opportunity to bid on bespoke bridal fashion pieces. With the valuable funds raised in support of local establishments, Wimbledon SW19 Women’s Institute and Wimbledon Guild. The event will feature conversations on the history of pink tradition, culture and empowerment.
In life, we find places to socialise, spend leisure time and spaces to think. A road down from the famous London Hanover Square is a café. Not an ordinary café. With raw leather bar stools and the distinct aroma of Copenhagen roast, this space is for thinking. With a warm coffee and a clear mind, we connected with Eleanor Taylor-Roberts to think pink.
The upcoming 2026 Soirée feels like a burst of pink confetti. Could you tell us more about the pink concept?
Eleanor: At the start of the last century, pink was a colour of masculinity, representing stamina and power, whilst blue was for girls. Marketers switched it by the forties. The dialogue has now transformed to explore various notions.
With Margot Robbie, the pillar has shifted, exploring today’s mind of Barbie and motherhood. The film is an expression of womanhood and what it is like working in the 21st century.
During our debate, talks will explore feminine colours in authority and wearing a hot pink suit in a boardroom filled with men, versus this in the fifties.
*As the sound wave of Eleanor’s statement fades, we glance around, take a sip of our coffee and think.
In this moment, we realise the reality. The mirrors in the London café reflect businesswomen with strong energy, yet dressed in neutral tones. Thinking pink, today, a generalisation is present about females dressed in pink. For women who feel exposed by the pink shade, it is time to reflect on the pink tradition and use it for experimentation and feminine celebration.
Is there a chance for a sneak peek at the talks taking place during the event?
Eleanor: Finance, Tech, Arts, Advertising and Fashion walks of life. From various voices and positioned within leadership.
Auction sales tend to open organic consumerism and a conscious desire to bid. Could you tell us more about the auction sale?
Eleanor: The auction will highlight the universal International Women’s Day, although it should be daily. The bridal garment in question falls under Eleanor Juliet Atelier and has been designed as part of a limited edition capsule collection of bespoke pieces.
How do you feel about a potential bride bidding at the auction?
Eleanor: After a wedding, women are still invested in bridal wear. You typically only wear it once, and it’s costly. We are projecting an upcycle and repurpose mindset – the limited edition capsule has been made from formally used fabric.
A selection of ladies will be invited to the Think Pink Spring 2026 Soirée to mingle in celebration of their feminine identity, romances, and infinite self-love. For those passionate about these conversations or looking to purchase the most special dress of their lifetime, the auction will offer a chance to acquire a bespoke piece. The event will champion female recognition within relationships and navigating the world when in pink.
